1. Introduction
Under Siege (“the App”) is a gamified workout application for iOS. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to this policy.
2. Data Gathering
All of your data stays on your device. This includes:
– Game progress such as level, XP, gold, streak, and enemies defeated
– Workout and battle history needed to run the game
– Settings such as appearance, reminders, and share preferences
– Character selection and onboarding completion
– Custom workouts you create
3. Camera and Pose Tracking
The App uses your device camera to count exercise reps during battles. Camera frames are processed on your device for pose estimation so the App can detect movements such as push-ups, squats, sit-ups, and pull-ups.
We do not upload your camera video or photos to our servers for storage or advertising. The camera is used only while a workout battle is active (and, if you enable battle clips, briefly for on-device screen recording so you can share a clip). You can deny camera access in iOS Settings; without it, automatic rep tracking will not work.
4. Subscriptions and Purchases
If you subscribe to Premium, purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to verify subscription status and unlock Premium features (such as additional enemies). RevenueCat and Apple may process purchase receipts and anonymous or device-linked identifiers needed to manage your subscription. We do not receive your full payment card details.
5. Notifications
If you enable workout reminders, the App schedules local notifications on your device. Reminder timing is stored locally. You can turn reminders off in the App or in iOS Settings at any time.
6. Sharing and Battle Clips
If you choose to share a victory card or battle clip, sharing uses the iOS share sheet and goes only to the destinations you select. Clips are created on your device; we do not host your shared media on our servers.
7. Third-Party Services
The App may rely on the following categories of services:
– Apple — App Store, In-App Purchases, and related platform services
– RevenueCat — subscription status and paywall delivery
– Pose / camera SDKs used on-device to count reps (camera processing stays on your device as described above)
8. How We Use Information
We use the information described above only to:
– Operate and improve the App’s gameplay and workout tracking
– Provide Premium features you purchase
– Send the reminders you enable
– Respond if you contact us for support
9. Data Retention and Deletion
Local game data remains on your device until you delete the App or use in-app reset options (such as resetting campaign progress). Uninstalling the App removes locally stored data from that device. Subscription records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat according to their practices and legal requirements.
10. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided such information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
